Manufactured Home

Modular homes:

Definition of a Modular Home:

Modular homes are factory-built homes that are built to state, local or regional codes where the home will be located. These homes are built in multiple sections. The modules are then transported to the new home site and installed on a permanent foundation.

Modular homes are constructed to withstand transportation and crane sets by incorporating sturdier construction methods. Home construction is monitored by state officials as well as independent third-party inspection teams.

Laurel Creek is quickly gaining prominence as a leading modular home company. We were the first in the manufactured housing industry to develop an innovative modular design that eliminates the need for stem wall requirements.

The national Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) also recognized Laurel Creek Homes with its “Best Modular Home Concept Award” in 2007 for homes exceeding 2,200 square feet.

Additionally, Laurel Creek Homes was ranked second in the nation behind Silvercrest Homes in Randall Easton’s 2007 Factory Built Housing Report for Arizona, which evaluated 18 HUD-code manufactured and on-frame modular housing companies.
